Seaford has a beautiful and envied pebbled beach and, although the landscape has changed dramatically, its history and maritime connections are both obvious and integral to the identity of the town and its inhabitants.
There are local history collections based in the Martello Tower museum and a heritage trail to take visitors on a journey through the town. The Crypt Art Gallery in Seaford contains a 13th Century merchant’s undercroft, enveloped by a contemporary art gallery.
Seaford has a bustling town centre with a thriving leisure centre. Many outdoor activities are available in and around the town, including the Seaford Head golf course, situated on the top of one of the Seven Sisters cliffs.
