Just east of Ryde, Binstead offers a quieter, more local slice of Isle of Wight life. It’s a lovely spot to hop off the bus and stretch your legs, with easy access to both the coast and the countryside.
The coastal path here is a gem. A gentle stroll will reveal beautiful views across the Solent, and you can easily walk into Ryde itself if you fancy a change of scenery. Pack a picnic to enjoy on the beach!
Venture inland and you’ll find footpaths leading through pretty fields and woodland. Binstead is small, but perfectly placed for exploring this part of the island. Plus, without the distraction of driving, you can really soak up the views along the way.
