The Breeze 77 bus route provides an enhanced service during the warmer months, with daily buses running every 45 minutes from April to September, including more frequent service in peak summer. During the off-peak season, from October to March, the service continues to operate on weekends, with buses running approximately every 75 minutes.

English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes are accepted on the Breeze the Downs | 77 route. For Brighton & Hove residents, free travel is not available for journeys within the city area on Mondays to Fridays between 04:00 and 09:00. If the journey for a Brighton & Hove resident starts outside the city (e.g., Lewes), free travel is not valid until 09:30 on weekdays. For residents holding passes issued by other authorities, free travel is not valid between 23:00 and 09:30 on Mondays to Fridays. There are no time restrictions for any passes at weekends and on Bank Holidays (valid from 00:01 until midnight).
