Accepted concessionary bus passes: ENCTS (English National Concessionary Travel Scheme).
English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes are accepted on the Breeze the Downs | 79 route. For journeys starting within Brighton & Hove, passes are valid from 9 am to 3:59 am, Monday to Friday, and all day on weekends and bank holidays. For journeys within the rest of England (outside of Brighton & Hove), passes are generally valid from 9:30 am to 11 pm, Monday to Friday, and all day on weekends and bank holidays.
Disabled Pass with Companion (ENCTS Scheme) allows a disabled cardholder to travel with a companion; however, companion passes issued by other authorities are not valid for travel within Brighton & Hove. In such cases, the disabled cardholder receives the discount, but companions may be required to pay for journeys originating within the council's boundaries. Up to four children or young people (19 or under) can travel free when accompanied by an adult concessionary pass holder, applicable at all times except on night-time routes and journeys.
