You can pay with contactless, cash (exact change encouraged), or use the Brighton & Hove Buses mobile app for single and saver tickets. Advance booking of a seat is not available for this service.

Concessions & free bus passes
Concessionary passes are accepted on Coaster 14 14C.
Accepted concessionary bus passes: ENCTS (English National Concessionary Travel Scheme).
ENCTS (English National Concessionary Travel Scheme) passes are accepted. For Brighton & Hove residents, older person's passes are valid from 9am to 3:59am Monday to Friday and all day on weekends and bank holidays. Disabled person's passes for Brighton & Hove residents are valid at any time on weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays. For residents from the rest of England, ENCTS passes are valid from 9:30am to 11pm Monday to Friday and all day on weekends and bank holidays. A Disabled Pass with Companion (ENCTS Scheme) allows a disabled cardholder to travel with a companion, but companion passes issued by other authorities are not valid for travel within Brighton & Hove, and companions may need to pay for journeys starting within the council's boundaries.
