No advanced booking: just turn up and go!

Booking a seat in advance is not possible for the 257 bus service. For travel Monday to Saturday with Andrew's of Tideswell, you can purchase your ticket directly from the driver when you board the bus. For the Sunday service, currently operated by South Pennine Community Transport, tickets are also bought from the driver and contactless payments are accepted, alongside cash and various regional travel cards.

Accepted concessionary bus passes: ENCTS (English National Concessionary Travel Scheme).

English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes, such as the Derbyshire Gold Card, are generally valid for free travel on buses between 9:30 am and 11 pm on weekdays and all day at weekends.
