The open-top Plymouth Citybus number 25 ‘Ocean City Sights’ service operates seasonally, primarily during the summer months. In 2024, the service ran daily from Saturday 20th July until Sunday 1st September.

This popular hop-on, hop-off experience allows passengers to explore Plymouth’s waterfront, Barbican, and Hoe with panoramic views.

The Ocean City Sights 25 is an open-top hop-on, hop-off bus service. You can purchase tickets directly from the bus driver using cash or contactless payment, or via the Plymouth Citybus app. It is not possible to book a specific seat in advance for this service.

Accepted concessionary bus passes: ENCTS (English National Concessionary Travel Scheme).

English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes are accepted on Plymouth Citybus services, including the Ocean City Sights 25 route. They are valid for free travel from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM on weekdays, and all day on weekends and public holidays. Passengers aged 80 and over or those who are registered blind may be eligible for an enhanced pass, allowing free travel before 9:30 AM within the Plymouth area. Concessionary passes issued by Plymouth City Council are valid anywhere in England, but not in Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland.
