Book your journey
on RedJet

No advanced booking: just turn up and go!

The RedJet service is a turn-up-and-go foot passenger service, meaning you cannot reserve a specific seat or space in advance. You simply turn up at one of the ferry terminals, purchase your ticket, and board the next available sailing. You can buy tickets online in advance, from ticket offices, or from ticket machines at the terminals.

Concessions & free bus passes

RedJet does not accept concessionary bus passes.

You can not use your concessionary bus pass to travel on RedJet. There are other great value tickets available for you.

Red Funnel RedJet does not explicitly state acceptance of ENCTS, Welsh, Scottish, Northern Irish 60+/65+ SmartPasses, or the London Freedom Pass. However, Red Funnel offers a 25% 'Concessionary discount' for eligible customers who present a valid Blue Badge Card, Access Card, or Disabled Persons Railcard when purchasing tickets at the office on the day of travel. Additionally, Isle of Wight residents receiving certain benefits (Local Council Tax Support, Universal Credit, or Housing Benefit) may be eligible for a fixed return fare of £12.80 as foot passengers on the Assisted Fares Scheme, which requires verification by the Isle of Wight Council.
