Booking a seat on the R68 bus service is not possible. Transport for London buses operate on a turn-up-and-go basis. You simply board the bus and pay using a contactless payment card or device, an Oyster card, or a valid Travelcard. There is no option to reserve a seat in advance.

Concessions & free bus passes

Concessionary passes are accepted on R68 Kew, Richmond & Hampton.

Accepted concessionary bus passes: London Freedom pass.

Older Person's Freedom Passes and 60+ London Oyster photocards are valid for free travel on the R68 bus route at any time on weekends and bank holidays. On weekdays, they are valid from 09:00 (for ENCTS) or 09:00 (for Older Person's Freedom Pass and 60+ London Oyster Photocard) until 04:30 the following morning. Disabled Person's Freedom Passes are valid for free travel at all times. English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes issued by English councils outside London are also accepted on London buses, including the R68, from 09:00, Monday to Friday, and anytime on weekends and bank holidays.
