Accessibility & on-board features

Non-folding cycles are allowed on Elizabeth line trains during off-peak hours on weekdays (outside 07:30-09:30 and 16:00-19:00) and at any time on weekends and bank holidays. Specific peak-hour exceptions apply for westbound trains leaving Paddington and eastbound trains arriving at Paddington, as well as for eastbound trains towards Shenfield leaving Liverpool Street and westbound trains arriving at Liverpool Street from Shenfield. Folding cycles are permitted at all times. As of March 31, 2025, non-folding e-bikes are banned from most TfL services, including the Elizabeth line, due to fire risks, though folding e-bikes are still allowed.
