The Belsay and Wallington Express X75 bus has been so popular this year that, in partnership with English Heritage and National Trust, Go North East have extended the service to run every Saturday between 2 September and 4 November.

The X75 bus connects Newcastle city centre with Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens and Wallington, with four return services every Saturday, and will now run until 4 November 2023.

The bus has been even more popular this year thanks to the free ticket offer, which is provided for visitors to Belsay Hall and Wallington, in partnership with English Heritage and the National Trust. Visitors to Wallington and Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens will also get a 20% discount on entry.

There are four departures per day on Saturdays this summer, with the first bus leaving Newcastle at 9:30am and the last returning from Wallington at 5pm.

We’re thrilled to announce that the popular Belsay and Wallington Express X75 service will now run until November. Working in partnership with our partners at English Heritage and National Trust, the service is free to use for visitors heading to Belsay Hall and Wallington.

It’s a great, environmentally-friendly and sustainable way of travelling to these Northumberland beauty spots.

September marks the annual #CatchTheBusMonth event, so there’s never been a better time to try the bus!
