English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes are accepted for free travel. This includes older person's and disabled person's bus passes. Travel is free during off-peak hours: 09:30 to 23:00 on Mondays to Fridays, and any time at weekends and Bank Holidays. Disabled person's bus passes issued by Brighton & Hove City Council may be used at any time on weekdays, weekends, and Bank Holidays for journeys within Brighton & Hove. However, for passes issued by other authorities, off-peak restrictions apply on weekdays.
