English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes, including the London Freedom Pass, are generally accepted for free travel on Stagecoach in Cumbria services (which include routes 93 & 93A) after 09:30 on weekdays and all day on weekends and bank holidays. Welsh concessionary bus passes are valid for free travel on most bus services in Wales and some cross-border journeys into England. Given that the route serves Newtown (Powys), Welsh passes are applicable. The Scotland National Entitlement Card is valid for free travel on services to and from Carlisle from anywhere in Scotland, but not for travel within Carlisle itself.
