You simply turn up at any stop along the route, board the bus, and buy or show your ticket. You can purchase tickets on the bus using contactless payment or cash, or conveniently via the Stagecoach Bus App. The app allows you to buy various ticket types and even provides a 'quieter bus' indicator to show how busy a service might be before you travel. Booking a specific seat in advance is not possible for this service.

Travel is normally free after 09:30 until 23:00 on weekdays and all day at weekends and on bank holidays. Some local councils may have different rules regarding usage. Concessionary bus passes for Scotland and Wales are also accepted for free travel on most Stagecoach buses in England. London Freedom Pass holders with English National Concessionary details are also eligible for concessions.
