Accessibility & on-board features

Bikes are allowed on Northern trains free of charge, with space allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. There is a limit of two bikes per train on most services, and passengers cannot book space in advance. Folding bikes are considered luggage and can be stored in luggage spaces. Tandems, tricycles, and trailers cannot be carried on board due to space constraints. For more details, refer to Northern's bike policy on their website.
