Accepted concessionary bus passes: ENCTS (English National Concessionary Travel Scheme).
English National Concessionary Bus Passes (ENCTS) are accepted for free travel on Southern Vectis bus services, including route 4 Ryde | East Cowes. Free travel with an ENCTS pass is valid between 9:30 AM and 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and at any time on weekends and bank holidays. Isle of Wight residents who hold an English National Disabled Pass or an Isle of Wight Council Gold or Silver New Islander Card may also travel free at peak times on any day on network buses. Concessionary bus passes issued in Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland are not accepted. Concessionary passes are also not valid on specific 'Breezer' routes (Downs and Needles Breezer, Island Coaster, and Shanklin Shuttle buses), however, the 4 Ryde | East Cowes route is a standard service.
