No advanced booking: just turn up and go!

Booking a seat is not possible for TfL bus route 24, as it operates as a turn-up-and-go service. Passengers can simply board the bus at any stop along the route. Payment is made by touching a contactless payment card or device, or an Oyster card, on the yellow card reader when boarding.

Concessions & free bus passes

Concessionary passes are accepted on TfL 24.

Accepted concessionary bus passes: London Freedom pass.

The Older Person's Freedom Pass is valid for free travel on TfL buses anytime Monday to Friday, except between 04:30-09:00, and free anytime on weekends and bank holidays. The Disabled Person's Freedom Pass is valid for free travel at all times on TfL services. English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes issued by English councils outside London are valid on TfL buses from 09:00 Monday to Friday, and anytime on weekends and bank holidays for older persons. Disabled ENCTS passes are valid at all times on any TfL bus service. ENCTS passes do not typically scan on London bus services and should be shown to the bus driver.
