You can pay using a contactless payment card or device, an Oyster card, a Visitor Oyster card, or a valid Bus & Tram Pass/Travelcard. London buses are cashless, so you cannot use cash to buy a ticket on board.

Concessions & free bus passes

Concessionary passes are accepted on 52 Victoria & Notting Hill.

Accepted concessionary bus passes: London Freedom pass.

The London Freedom Pass and the English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes are accepted on Transport for London (TfL) bus route 52. Older Person's Freedom Passes and Older Person's ENCTS passes are valid for free travel on weekdays from 09:00 (or 09:30 for ENCTS passes issued outside London) until 04:30 the following day, and anytime on weekends and bank holidays. Disabled Person's Freedom Passes and Disabled Person's ENCTS passes are valid for free travel at all times. Concessionary passes from Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland are not valid for free travel on TfL bus services.
