on River Bus: RB6

No advanced booking: just turn up and go!

Booking a specific seat is not possible for the RB6 River Bus service. You can pay for your journey using a contactless payment card, Oyster card (touching in and out at the piers), or by purchasing tickets in advance via the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers website or their dedicated app, as well as the Uber app. Tickets can also be bought at pier ticket offices or machines on the day of travel.

Concessions & free bus passes

River Bus: RB6 does not accept concessionary bus passes.

You can not use your concessionary bus pass to travel on River Bus: RB6. There are other great value tickets available for you.

Freedom Pass holders (Older Person's and Disabled Person's) and 60+ London Oyster photocard holders receive a 50% discount on fares. They must purchase a discounted ticket before travelling, as these passes are not compatible with 'pay as you go' by touching in and out on River Bus services. Veterans Oyster photocard holders also receive a 50% discount. Any person with a disability is eligible for a 50% discount on tickets, and their accompanying carers receive a complimentary ticket.
