Dogs can usually travel with you onboard this route.
However, it's at the driver's discretion, the driver will consider things like if there is already another pet on the bus when making their decision.
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are of course allowed at all times.
Timetables
The Windrush line typically operates with around 72 to 78 trains per day between Highbury & Islington and West Croydon. During off-peak hours on Mondays to Saturdays, services at stations like Wapping run every 5-10 minutes. The core section of the route, between Dalston Junction and Surrey Quays, currently sees 16 trains per hour (tph). At each southern terminus, including New Cross, Clapham Junction, Crystal Palace, and West Croydon, services generally operate every 15 minutes. On weekends, there are overnight services between Highbury & Islington and New Cross Gate, running four trains per hour.

Accessibility & on-board features
Non-folding bicycles are permitted on the London Overground Windrush Line during off-peak hours on weekdays (before 07:30, between 09:30 and 16:00, and after 19:00), and at any time on weekends and bank holidays. Folding bicycles are allowed at all times. As of March 31, 2025, non-folding e-bikes are banned on all TfL rail services, including the Overground.
