Book your journey
on Liberty line

No advanced booking: just turn up and go!

The Liberty line is a London Overground rail service operated by Transport for London (TfL). Like other TfL rail services, booking a seat in advance is not possible, nor is it required. You can pay for your journey using a contactless payment card or device, an Oyster card, or by purchasing a paper ticket for a single or return journey. Contactless and Oyster payments often provide the cheapest adult fares, with daily and weekly capping available. You simply touch in at the start of your journey and touch out at the end.

Concessions & free bus passes

Concessionary passes are accepted on Liberty line.

Accepted concessionary bus passes: London Freedom pass.

Concessionary passes, specifically the London Freedom Pass (Older Person's and Disabled Person's), are valid for travel on the Liberty line, which is part of the London Overground rail network. Older Person's Freedom Pass holders can travel free on weekdays after 09:00 and anytime on weekends and bank holidays. Disabled Person's Freedom Pass holders can travel free at any time. English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes issued outside London are generally valid on London buses, but the Liberty line is a rail service, not a bus or tram.
