No advanced booking: just turn up and go!

Booking a seat to travel on the Victoria Line, a London Underground service, is not possible. You can simply turn up at any station, tap in with a contactless payment card or Oyster card, or purchase a paper ticket for your journey. The service operates on a turn-up-and-go basis, with frequent trains.

Concessions & free bus passes

Concessionary passes are accepted on Victoria Line.

Accepted concessionary bus passes: London Freedom pass.

The Victoria Line is a London Underground (Tube) line, not a bus route. Freedom Passes are valid for travel on the Victoria Line. The Disabled Person's Freedom Pass is valid for free travel at any time. The Older Person's Freedom Pass is valid for free travel anytime Monday to Friday, except between 04:30 and 09:00, and is valid all day on weekends and bank holidays. The 60+ London Oyster photocard, for London residents aged 60 and over, also offers free travel on the Victoria Line with the same weekday morning restrictions as the Older Person's Freedom Pass. English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes issued outside London are generally not valid on the London Underground but can be used on London buses from 09:00 on weekdays and all day on weekends and bank holidays.
