Booking a seat on the Elizabeth line is not possible. This service operates as a turn-up-and-go railway, similar to the London Underground. You can pay for your journey using a contactless payment card, an Oyster card, or by purchasing a paper ticket for single journeys or Travelcards.

Concessions & free bus passes

Concessionary passes are accepted on Elizabeth line (Abbey Wood | Reading).

Accepted concessionary bus passes: London Freedom pass.

The London Freedom Pass is accepted on the Elizabeth line. Older Person's Freedom Passes are valid anytime on weekends and bank holidays, and on weekdays, except between 04:30 and 09:00. Disabled Person's Freedom Passes are valid at all times. The Freedom Pass is valid for travel on the entire Elizabeth line, including services to Reading. The 60+ London Oyster photocard, available to London residents aged 60 and over, offers free travel on the Elizabeth line, but it is not valid for journeys between West Drayton and Reading, and also has the weekday time restriction of 04:30-09:00. English National Concessionary Travel Scheme (ENCTS) passes issued by councils outside London are valid on London buses, but not on the Elizabeth line. There is no information to suggest that Welsh, Scottish, or Northern Irish concessionary passes are valid on the Elizabeth line.
