Book your journey
on Metropolitan line to Amersham

No advanced booking: just turn up and go!

The Metropolitan line operates as a 'turn up and go' service, meaning booking a seat is not possible or required for regular travel. You can pay for your journey using a contactless payment card or device, an Oyster card, or by purchasing a paper ticket at the station. Contactless and Oyster payments are generally cheaper and offer daily and weekly fare capping. Remember to touch in at the start and touch out at the end of your journey on the yellow card readers to ensure you pay the correct fare.
