Non-folding bicycles are permitted free of charge on the Metropolitan line (anywhere on the line) outside of peak times. Peak times are Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 09:30 and 16:00 – 19:00, excluding public holidays. As of March 31, 2025, non-folding e-bikes are banned on most TfL services, including the Tube, due to safety concerns, but folded e-bikes are still allowed.
